New dinosaur discoveries
A team of paleontologists from the UW and its Burke Museum of Natural History and Culture excavated four dinosaurs in northeastern Montana this summer. All fossils will be brought back to the Burke Museum where the public can watch paleontologists remove the surrounding rock in the fossil preparation laboratory.
UW among best in world for health and life sciences
The University of Washington is among the best universities in the world for the studies of health and life sciences, according to the Times Higher Education World University Rankings by Subject 2022.
A safe return to in-person learning
This autumn the UW is safely returning to in-person instruction and activities. The University requires requires masks indoors for all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, and also requires all students and personnel to be vaccinated.
